Like the stars I find the urge to twinkle, not realizing the consequences,
An instant desire to shine, a dream so unrealistic.
Views clouded by emotions, not to say selfishness, thriving hard to stay put.
Like the dark clouds that cover the blue sky, a ray of light hard to penetrate,
My emotions waiting to shower cold tears, relieving my heart of the pain and struggles,
A reality so harsh, a realization so mean, with hardly any strength to bear
Hope to hold on, smiles to remember was only a way to overcome fear.
